Exeter's popular Bombay Bill's restaurant is on the move. Staff are busy putting the finishing touches to the decor at the new premises in The Old Malthouse in Bartholomew St East for opening night tomorrow (March 31). They previously operated on Exeter Quay.
Manager Peter Collins will be greeting regulars and new customers with a welcome drink and introducing them to the Bombay Bill's combination of Indian cuisine with American grills. Regular Saturday night music continues with Barnaby playing this Saturday (April 2) and Roger Styles doing an acoustic set on April 9. On Fridays, diners will be able to enjoy 70s and 80s music. And the unmissable comedy and a curry nights continue on the last Sunday of the month.
James Eyre, Managing Director of Lifestyle Hospitality Group, who own Bombay Bill's and operate a number of themed restaurants around the South West, commented: 'I'm delighted that Bombay Bills is moving to a new site where we will be able to welcome all our regulars in more comfortable and even better surroundings. And we'll be nearer our sister restaurant Tiger Bills in North Street. Everyone is very excited about the move and we can't wait to open the doors.'
