Pig Racing at The Apple and Parrot!

..Pig racing organiser Ady Byng with one of the hotly favoured contestants in the pig racing championships this Sunday at Torquay's cider bar The Apple and Parrot.

All the races have been sponsored by local businesses - the fun starts 9 30 pm with 8 races to enjoy.  Winners won't be bringing home the bacon - just cash prizes.  Unfortunately for racing fans, there's no form available to study on the piggies - their success will be down to their batteries - and encouragement from the crowd of course.

Positively no race fixing - they've had their snouts in the trough quite enough already....sorry couldn't resist that.
